Malone is a small town in the Adirondacks region of New York first settled in 1820. While Malone has seen better days-- many of Main Street's buildings are empty and a few a falling apart-- it has the benefit of being one of the few places with services between Lake Placid/Lake Saranac and the Canadian border.
