Hagerstown is a small city on the edge of the Appalachian Mountains along the Potomac River in Maryland, USA. It is the county seat of and the largest city in Washington County. The city is perhaps best known for its outlet mall, which offers a huge variety of clothing. It is named after Jonathan Hager, a German settler who founded the town. The City has a population of around 40,000 and is growing. Hagerstown is one of the fastest growing cities in Maryland.
