With their sophisticated humor and sense of style, the New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) returns to the Center with a program of 20th-century art songs, Sephardic songs and theater songs. Sung with beauty in a variety of languages, including Yiddish and Hebrew, this lively and melodic program will feature works by classical greats such as Ravel, Milhaud, Mahler, Rodrigo, Rubinstein and Shostakovich, and distinctive selections from Berlin, Gershwin and others. The NYFOS cast of singers always brings an extraordinary blend of superb voices and devilish charm.
