Thursday Jam Sessions at Jazz at the Station The Marlin McKay Quartet hosts a jam session every Thursday evening at Jazz at the Station from 8 to 11 p.m. Players of any age and level can bring their instruments and join the group.

Noon Talk: Picturing the Picture Show: Everyday Life and the Movies Greg Waller, chair of the Department of Communication and Culture and a professor in Film and Media Studies, will discuss America's fascination with the movies from the 1930s through the 1970s using images by Russell Lee, Walker Evans, Louis Faurer, and Larry Rivers.
