Event Name: TriMedia Film FestivalWhen: 09/05/2008 &151; 09/07/2008Submission Deadline: 05/31/2008Where: Fort Collins, ColoradoWebsite: www.trimediafestival.org The TriMedia Film Festivals mission is to be an annual event of national stature that celebrates film, television, and theatre arts, and integrates emerging and established artists in all categories. The festival has an innovative tri-media focus featuring film, TV pilots, and live theatre, with a PG-13 or equivalent rating limit. We will screen and exhibit entries from all over the world. We will encourage local filmmakers and writers by showcasing their work, and exhibit the winning entries from area student film festivals. The festival will create a competitive cultural and educational festival for Fort Collins that unites filmmakers, writers, and actors with film, TV, and theatre enthusiasts, and while bringing this terrific location to the attention of national production industry representatives.

Join the Curfman Gallery for a 1st Friday event as we open Linda Foster Leonhard's installation, Tiered. The exhibit will be in place from Friday, Sept. 5 until Friday, Oct. 10.
Food and refreshments will be provided at opening. This event is open to the public and free.

Linda Foster Leonhard's art engages viewers
Linda Foster Leonhard, a Northern Colorado artist and CSU alumni, has explored ways to engage in dialogue with the viewer. Her whimsical and provocative installations provide insights to explore psychological and emotional issues.
Her past neoprene works echoed natural forms while narrating larger global issues.

Features in Billboard and Performing Songwriter Magazines describe her whimsical “gifts as a songwriter” with a voice that can “bounce and float into the stratosphere.”
