Travel along the Pacific Coast Highway (route 1), one of the most scenic and famous coastal drives in the world from Los Angeles to San Francisco.
After a short city tour of Los Angeles including stops at Hollywood Walk of Fame, Rodeo Drive and Grauman's Chinese Theater, you will begin the trip along the California coastline. After a short stop on Santa Barbara continue to the Danish inspired town of Solvang before ending the day with an overnight stop in Santa Maria.
On the second day you follow Route 1 through the Big Sur region of California's central coast where the Santa Lucia Mountains rise abruptly from the Pacific Ocean. See the majestic giant Redwoods, the tallest tree species on Earth and stop in Carmel before finishing your tour in San Francisco - the City by the Bay.
In 2008 the tour will take a different route to San Francisco, traveling the famous 17 Mile Drive instead of Route 1.

Nothing is more spectacular than enjoying the sunset from the vantage point of a mile above California's magnificent coastline. Take off from world-famous Van Nuys Airport, airport of the stars, aboard a four-seat high-wing airplane, in which every seat affords fantastic views.
Just as the sky turns amber, you'll head west over the San Fernando Valley. Fly out along the beautiful Santa Monica Mountain range and soon you'll see the Santa Monica Pier and Malibu's million-dollar homes ahead as the sun makes its descent below the horizon. Return to Van Nuys Airport just as the city lights begin to glow.

Your Director of Undertakings, Scott Michaels, will narrate you through decades of death, murder, and just plain fun. Once your tour um... departs, you will be treated to the most tickling tales of tinsel town tragedies, in the cool comfort of the luxurious Dearly Departed Tomb Buggy. In two and a half hours, you will be escorted to such infamous locations such as:
There is one restroom stop where you can drop your trousers and reenact George Michael's most scandalous moment. A complimentary copy of his arrest report will be provided to all guests.
You will also see several film locations such as Sunset Boulevard, Halloween, The Graduate, That Thing You Do, Dead Again, Grease, and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.
But wait... there's more! You'll see the last gasp locations of Frank Sinatra, Rebecca Schaefer, River Phoenix, Dee Dee Ramone, Albert Dekker, Bela Lugosi, and Mae West.
All in all, almost 100 sites are crammed into 3 hours, making it the best bang for your buck!
