Fly over the longest glacier in Denali National Park, the 45 mile long Kahiltna glacier, see where climbers begin their ascent of McKinley. As you approach the climber base camp you will fly between McKinley's two sister peaks: Mt. Hunter at 14,500' and Mt. Foraker at 17,400'. The famed West Buttress will be full in your view and you may see climbers enroute to the summit who have come from all over the world to challenge the mountains of the Alaska Range.

Your flightseeing trip begins at the unique hexagonal log building in Talkeetna, a small Alaskan town big on character and rich in history located about 115 miles (a two and a half hour drive) North of Anchorage.

After meeting your pilot/guide, you will be seated comfortably in one of our ski-equipped aircraft and provided with voice activated headphones which allows conversation between passengers and pilot. Everyone has a window seat. As you set out to the mountains, your pilot will describe the history and geology of the area and point out gold mining areas and wildlife.

Glacier Landing Add On: Land on a glacier at the base of Mt. McKinley and experience the excitement of standing among the great peaks, the immense scale will astound you. Enjoy the sun, snow and the unique sounds of the glacier. Bring lots of film and your sunglasses.This is an unsurpassed photo opportunity.
