Hexham Racecourse takes full advantage of a natural amphitheatre of sloping grass below the stands to provide superb viewing of the racecourse as well as the magnificent surrounding countryside.
Excellent viewing areas are provided for people with disabilities, with lift access to all parts of the stands, as well as a special car park to view racing.

The sponsored walk will take you 7.6 miles along the new Lakeside Way providing you with stunning unspoilt views of Kielder Water, the surrounding countryside along with opportunities for viewing some of the abundant wildlife.
Walk for life is suitable for all ages and great for walking in a group or with family and friends to raise money for your charity. The Lakeside Way is a multi user trial that is suitable for people who wish to take part in the event with pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Come and learn the ancient craft of dry stone walling in the beautiful Northumberland countryside. You will learn all basic aspects of dry stone walling such as health & safety, how to use specialist tools, stripping down a wall and rebuilding it.
