
Gloucester Farmers' Market is held at The Cross, Gloucester every Friday from 9.00am to 3.00pm. It includes a host of stalls selling organic fruit, vegetables, locally cultivated flowers and plants, home made preserves and meats and much more besides. On Fridays 25 July and 1 August Gloucester Farmer's Market will also feature a Festival prize Draw for a hamper of Market goodies.
The whole of the upper section of the Square is filled with 39 market stalls, selling a range of goods including fruit and vegetables, meat, household goods, clothes, jewellery and plants. The Market attracts hundreds of people throughout the day. Markets on the Square will now become a regular feature. Periodically, there will be European markets joining our regular Cherry & White Market. There will be various events held in the lower parts of Kings Square throughout the year.
The Beatrix Potter Walks will take place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at Noon throughout June, July, August and September. Starting from The House of the Tailor of Gloucester in College Court, the walks will be led by a qualified Civic Trust Guide.
