Golden bay is located near the beautiful Abel Tasman national park. The dominant city is Takaka, from which visitors exlpor the area. Apart from the national parks, Golden Bay offers the largest freshwater springs in New Zealand (Pupu), the sand dunes of Farewell Spit and Salmon fishing.
