By train

Barneveld can be reached by train in two directions: from Ede-Wageningen. Intercity trains do not stop at Barneveld. The main station is about 5 minutes walk from the village center.

By car

Barneveld is not signposted until you are near it: from most directions you will need to first follow the signs for Zwolle or Amersfoort. It is easy to park a car in Barneveld.

By bus

Busses also run from Amersfoort Central Station, however since you are already at the train station, a train would be much more effective.

  • Haantje Pik in one of the bakeries is a Barneveld delicacy. Bread with honey.
