Ann and Seamus: A Chamber Opera - Ann and Seamus: A Chamber Opera (Cork Opera House) A Story of Courage and Heroismâ¦. Two hundred years ago, seventeen-year-old Ann Harvey and her family saved 163 Irish emigrants from certain death -shipwrecked in stormy seas on the coast of Newfoundland. Today, Shallaway honours this young woman by bringing her story to the stage, with a cast of her peers, through the magic of opera.

Sprog Festival The pre-Spraoi Festival for the under 8s! The emphasis is on fun lively entertainment concerning differnet shows and workshops for children. A real treat! Held in the week prior to the Waterford Spraoi festival, this children's festival has both engaging entertainment and educational events for children aged 5 and older and their families. With two shows a day, workshops and exhibitions, the festival is a wonderful exploration of work for children presented in a fun and safe environment.
