Roßdorf has about 13,000 inhabitants. It's 9 km south of Darmstadt and 44 km south of Frankfurt.

  • The old railroad station. From 1897 to 1982, it was the station for the railroad line from Darmstadt/East - large rooms. Since 1988 it has housed the South Hessian handicraft museum and gallery.
  • The old city hall, established in 1575 in the Frankish framework style.

Several buses run from Darmstadt Main Station to Roßdorf. The ride takes about 15 minutes.
