You are invited to join an incredible horseback experience in the rainforests of Monte de la Cruz! Meander peacefully through the rainforest on your trusty steed as you enjoy the fresh air and natural surrounds. Your tour finishes with a visit to a local cheese factory, and lunch is included.

You will climb the beautiful mountain of Monte de la Cruz on an exciting morning horseback ride. As you ride the winding trails you will visit the "Ojo de Agua", the source of the potable water for the city of Heredia. You will see picturesque dairy farms, marvelous mansions and views of the surrounding valley.

From the top of the mountain you can see all the way to San Jose, Braulio Carrillo National Park and the two magnificent volcanoes – Barva and Poas. As you return, riding down the evergreen trails, you will be able to spot many species of birds, animals, butterflies and ornamental plants. At the end of your tour you will visit a local cheese factory and enjoy a delicious lunch.
