

Depart from Iquique in the morning to visit the ruins of the Nitrate plants of Santa Laura and Humberstone. The tour includes a full visit to both in order to show the full processing of the mineral and also the lifestyle and social structure of the people who lived and worked there at the end of the 19th Century.
Continue towards the Geoglyphs of Cerro Unita, where the main interest is the 'Giant of Atacama'. The huge size of this figure - 86 meters tall (284 feet) make it the largest anthropomorphic figure in the world.
Then continue to the Geoglyphs of Pintados, an important archeological site where over 400 geoglyphs can be found on the hillside depicting messages, directions and symbols of the travelers in this area from many years ago.
