Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Celebration
A major celebration is being planned for Calgary on September 6 to celebrate Albertas first-ever Arts Day.

A free, family-friendly, all-day event is being held at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium with many talented artists from across the province. Learn from the best that Alberta has to offer, whether its joining in on a hip hop choreography session or creating a unique presentation using the latest new media techniques.

Boasting the largest contemporary visual arts festival in Calgary, the annual Artcity Festival has lots to do and see at venues spread out across the city featuring every kind of art imaginable from multimedia to architecture to design.

The event coincides with ArtWalk a tour of Calgary's galleries and exhibits. ArtCity also includes ArtTalk featuring stimulating lectures from some of the art world's celebrated artists, designers and architects.
