Triunfo is situated 449 km away from Recife. Fly to Recife Gilberto Freyre - Guararapes International Airport. A closer, but much smaller airport, can be found in Caruaru.

By car

From Recife, take interstate highway BR-232 until the city of Serra Talhada. Then take state highwyay PE-365 all the way to Triunfo.

By bus

From Recife's Bus Terminal (TIP), Auto-Viação Progresso [1] operates the line Recife-Triunfo (tel.: (81) 3452-3079).

Local specialties include Bode (goat meat), Carne de Sol, Galinha de Cabidela, Alfenim de Rapadura, Angu Salgado and Licor de Rosas.

Triunfo is also famous for Rapadura, a traditional sugar candy.
