In St Wolfgang there is time to visit the famous winged gothic altar by Michael Pacher, and there will be a stop at the White Horse Inn for refreshments. From St Wolfgang you be able to enjoy a 25 minute boat ride (May 01 - October 26 only) to St Gilgen, where Mozart's mother was born, on the other side of Lake Wolfgang.
Passing Castle Huttenstein, you will continue along the Mondsee. The ever-changing and contrasting scenery will make this tour an unforgettable memory.

Driving along the Konigseeache, through the lovely valley and picturesque farmland to Unterau you will begin to ascend to the Obersalzberg. Here, the tour will stop to see what is left of Hitler's mountain compound, and to enjoy the wonderful panorama (view of Hitler's Eagle's Nest).
Next you continue down the Konigsee, or Echo Lake, nestled among the steep mountain peaks. There will be time for a stroll along the lake.

Wearing traditional miners' clothes, you enter the mines and hear historical as well as legendary tales of the fascinating underground world. Using the same slides as hundreds of miners before, you descend to the grottos, the magical world beneath the surface of the earth. You end your adventure with a raft sail on the salt lake and a special train trip.

Continue through the fairytale scenery, along the Konigsee River Valley, through the Bavarian mountains spotted with romantic farmhouses.
Once the tour reaches Obersalzberg, the mountain housing the elevator that will take you to Eagle's Nest, the highlight of the journey begins. You will be transported to Eagle's Nest by both elevator and bus. The adventurous bus ride along the steep rock walls and deep gorges takes about 20 minutes and provides breathtaking views across the Alps. The buses are equipped with special engines and brakes to enable them to safely transport you through such treacherous terrain.
